I taught there for 8 years. I then moved to Bedford County, Tennessee. I taught 3 years there. I then left teaching and substituted for awhile. I met my husband Bob through my aunt who was working at American Can at the time. He now has his own business Brown Heating and Cooling. His brother and nephew are part owners of the business also. We don't have any children. We do have 2 dogs we spoil like children. Their names are Rocky and Ginger. We have a Goldwing 1800 motorcycle we travel on sometimes. We went to Tulsa,Oklahoma on it for our wedding trip in July, 1991. It was fun but it sure was hot that year. I like traveling on the motorcycle when the weather is hot and dry. I don't like to be on the motorcycle when it rains or is cold or both. We have been to Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Indiana, and Wisconsin for motorcycle rallys. We will be going to Texas for another motorcycle soon. I am looking to start a homebased business so I will have some money coming. Since I am not able to work anymore. I had a tumor removed from my spinal cord a few years ago. Then I had to have the rest of it removed from the front part of my neck. I then had to have radiation therpy. The next year I had to have a spinal fusion because the tumor weakened the spinal column. The radiatioin made the muscles stiff as well as the fusion its self. I have not had anymore trouble with tumors for 7 years now. I praise God for that. I wouldn't wish anything like that on anyone. Well I guess that's about it. I hope there are some more JOHS 1970 graduates out there and will sign on for this. God Bless All Of You.
